Opera tenor Rafailas Karpis and pianist Darius Mažintas are presenting a program of arranged Jewish songs in Yiddish.

According to the singer, he sees the project as an opportunity to get to his own roots by reviving part of the Jewish culture which thrived in Lithuania before the World War II. Many people who wrote texts for the songs had been closely related to the history of Vilnius and the whole country as they were active participants of that day's cultural life. For the listeners, the concert represents a unique opportunity to explore rarely performed songs of exquisite beauty and content.
